Cedar Mountain Utah has beautiful fall colors in early October each year. We will plan on going to Cedar City and then up to some beautiful locations off Highway 14. Field Trips Chair Allan Duff knows some beautiful locations to photograph fall colors along Highway 14, the road to Kolob Reservoir, Highway 143 to Panguitch and Road to Yankee Meadow. Bring your camera and a tripod and a couple of lenses. For those staying over, bring your overnight stuff. It can be very cold in early mornings at that time of year and at that altitude, dress warm.
